I have been to Brake Masters many times before for oil changes and minor repairs. This time was a little different I had a check engine light on and they assured me they could handle it. They came up with a diagnosis and did the work. It turned out to be something much more serious. My motor had dropped a lifter and would need to be taken apart to see how serious it was going to be. As it turned out after pulling the head that it was indeed a bad lifter. The mechanic who had now taken over was a very detailed person taking pictures as he was working showing everything that's being done. All the parts were ordered and the head was sent out for cleaning and to check all the valves.
Luckily there was no other damage and with all new lifters and gaskets the truck was put back together. They did this in a timely manner and when I was called to come and get it they showed me all my old parts and showed me more pictures of how it was cleaned up and repaired. I paid the bill which was negotiated up front and I am totally satisfied with everything they did. I would like to thank Brandon and Jesus for working with me and Jason, the great mechanic that did the work. I appreciate the up front pricing and their willingness to go the extra mile to get the job done right. I drove the truck down to AZ to get some lotto tickets and the truck ran perfectly. Sometimes these places get a bad reputation, but this place I believe went over and above to make sure I was happy.

No issues with the brake work thus far ... however after them checking my brakes and finding the main problem or so they said ( giving me the total amount )they began the repairs which lead to another repair and another, which increased the total $400+ th so called "discount" had no real impact on the price...I won't be returning. #bamboozled #gamerunner

The boys at this place may not be quite as Peppy, as The old Pep Boys. But nonetheless, a genuine group of very skilled mechanics.
A place where their free wifi is as fast as their Quick easy pay financing.
After my complete tri monthly maintenance service was complete. I asked the Brake Master named Jesus. " Master, How long do I have to live?"
