Our jeep had been sitting for a year while we were stationed overseas, and we noticed a vibration when we got back to Vegas. It was so much more. This location was specifically recommended to us, and let’s just say that anything we need done to our cars, we will continue coming here. The customer service is wonderful, just to start. I always knew in detail what was going on, and they went to lengths to make sure they had the problem figured out. They were lovely, treated us as if we had known them for years, and just went above and beyond. You forget for a minute that you are in Las Vegas, and it feels like you are back in your small hometown. We can’t thank this team enough, Jonathan, John, Terry. Thank you for taking such good care of us and our jeep!

I came into Brake Masters last week for CVT maintenance and because I suspected I had a passenger-rear wheel bearing issue. I had hit a curb pretty hard, and afterward I started noticing a humming noise coming from that area. I had my suspicions that something wasn’t right, but I’m not a car expert, and honestly, I’d rather let professionals diagnose the problem than try to guess what’s wrong myself.
I had actually left my previous repair shop because they missed something that, in my opinion, should have been obvious. That experience made me a lot more cautious about who I trust with my vehicle.
Then I met John.
John is definitely different from what I’ve experienced at other repair shops. Not only was he doing an excellent job, but he was also taking the time to train a new hire while still making sure the work and customer service were handled properly.
In the end, the CVT service and passenger-rear wheel bearing repair came out to exactly $1,140.25. Considering the amount of work involved, what mattered most to me was knowing that the issues were actually being addressed properly and that I could understand what I was paying for. John took the time to explain the problems in a way that made sense to someone who doesn’t know much about cars.
What really stood out to me was his attention to customers. After my service, when I returned to the shop, John was already coming outside to greet me. I didn’t even have a chance to take one step inside to explain why I was back. Even today, when he had no idea I was coming in for another repair, he saw me park and came outside to meet me again.
That kind of service is rare.
John is a true professional. He explains vehicle issues in a way that actually makes sense, without making you feel stupid for not knowing anything about cars. He also makes sure you know exactly which Brake Masters location you’re dealing with and confirms that you have the correct address. It’s a small detail, but it shows how attentive he is.
Another thing I noticed is how hard he works. You can tell the difference between someone who is simply waiting for the day to end and someone who takes pride in their work. John is constantly moving, helping customers, and training others. He keeps a steady pace and stays involved.
Trust is hard to build when it comes to your vehicle and the people working on it. After my experience with my previous repair shop, I wasn’t looking to blindly trust another mechanic. But honestly, when you work with someone like John, building that trust comes naturally.
I’m genuinely glad I brought my car to Brake Masters. The repairs totaled $1,140.25, but what I really walked away with was confidence that my vehicle was being looked after by someone who actually cares about doing the job right. Brake Masters has someone valuable in John. If you’re looking for someone who is professional, attentive, hardworking, and willing to explain things without making you feel lost, I would definitely recommend working with him.
